It Pays To Go Away

It was nice to go away for Christmas then come home and see all the progress that was made. When you are home on a daily basis the progress seems to be sooooo slow. You wonder what they were pounding on for the last eight hours.

And today I was surprised they even showed up to work. At 7 this morning it was below zero and it really hasn't warmed up much.

Back Home After Christmas

We are back home and its always nice to be back home. We had a nice Christmas at Hope and John's house. Eric and Jen were able to come for Christmas brunch and dinner. Trevor, Lisa and Payton stayed home because Lisa had to work the days before and after Christmas. We missed having them there.

Everything went well. It's hard to cook in someone else's kitchen, especially if you aren't fond of cooking in the first place. But we had lots of leftovers to share and take home.

Everyone liked playing on the Wii, bowling is my favorite and I didn't want to even try boxing. On my wish list is the Wii Fit.

The dogs got along really well. They both like having a playmate. Ernie did get sick from eating the stuffing out of Zoe's bed.

Progress was made on Phase Two while we are gone, that was nice to see. Pictures later.

Phase Two Has Begun

On Tuesday the demolition crew of one showed up. It was suppose to be a crew of three but two them mysteriously didn't show up. So Dennis worked with the crew of one to get the job done.
