Dennis and I took our first vacation during the school year. We visited four presidential museums and libraries. Presidents Lincoln, Hoover, Eisenhower and Clinton. Visited and explored three submarines. USS Marlin, Omaha, NE. We just got a peek at that one its dry docked since the flood. Dennis got a really good look at the USS Batfish at Muskogee, OK, you can explore the whole submarine on your own. And we had a guided tour of the USS Razorback at Little Rock, AR.
And I collected a lot of stamps for my National Park passport book. We got our fill of canyons and canyon land.
Dennis completed the last big project on the house.
The old part of the house has all new windows and siding plus the stone work on the front. The back porch has been remodeled with new windows.
The inside of the porch isn't finished but that should be a small project for next spring and improving the entryway.
Maybe my goal should be to post more often than every two years.
